안녕하세요.안녕하십니까. 광주과학기술원 혁신기업가교육센터 센터장 김진호입니다.
혁신기업가교육센터는 누구나 창업에 도전할 수 있는 분위기를 조성하여 예비 창업자를 발굴하고, 다양한 지원사업 및 프로그램을 통해 스타트업이 성장할 수 있는 기반을 제공하고 있습니다.
4차 산업혁명시대에는 창의적인 아이디어가 고부가가치를 창출하고, 이를 바탕으로 유니콘 기업들이 성장할 수 있었습니다. 이러한 시대적 흐름에 발맞추어 우리 센터에서는 대학(원)생들이 그러한 창의적인 아이디어를 통해 창업의 모든 것을 마음껏 펼치고 도전할 수 있도록 창업 지원사업을 추진하고 있으며 더불어 기업가정신을 확장할 수 있도록 다양한 창업관련 교과목들을 운영하고 있습니다.
대표적으로는 [공공기술기반 시장연계 창업탐색 지원사업(한국형 I-Corps)]가 있습니다. 해당 사업은 잠재고객 인터뷰(customer Discovery) 중심의 ‘아이코어 방법론’을 통하여 대학(원)생 등 중심의 국내·외 실전창업탐색활동을 지원하고 있습니다.
다음으로는 [CUop 프로그램]이 있습니다. 산학협력 인턴십 프로그램과 융합캡스톤디자인 정규수업 프로그램으로 구성되었으며, 이 중 산학협력 인턴십 프로그램은 과기특성화대학 재학생이 전공을 살려, 기업에서 실제로 수업 중 취득한 지식을 적용 해 보면서 그 과정에서 기술적 애로사항 및 개선사항에 대한 문제를 정의하여, 프로젝트 중심의 정규수업(융합캡스톤디자인)을 통해 문제를 해결하는 프로그램입니다.
아울러 전 학위과정 대상으로 운영하는 공통 필수 교과이며, 전문가를 초청하여 한 학기 6회 이상 강연을 하는 [과학기술과 경제], 창업교육의 글로벌 역량강화를 위해 유럽의 우수 기업가정신 교육기관 (EIT, European Institute of Innovation and Technology)의 전문가를 초청하여, 매년 1회, 계절학기에 강의를 진행하는 글로벌 교과목인 [Global Business Development]등이 주요 교과목으로 있습니다. 기타 강의로는 여러 분야 전문가들을 초청해 학생들의 식견을 넓히는 [4차산업혁명 트렌드 분석], 실전 기술 창업을 배울 수 있는 [기술사업화], [실전창업론] 및 [벤처마케팅] 등이 있습니다.
혁신기업가교육센터는 여러분이 미래를 개척하는 기업가로서의 열정을 보여주기 위해 더욱 도전하기를 바라며, 거기에 여러분들이 마음껏 창업나래를 펼칠수 있도록 지원하는데 최선을 다하겠습니다. 더 나은 사회를 만들어갈 여러분들을 기다리고 있겠습니다.

Hello. I am Kim Jin-ho, head of the Entrepreneur Education Center(The EEC) at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology.
The EEC creates an atmosphere where anyone can challenge to start a business, finds prospective startups, and provides a foundation for startups to grow through various support projects and programs.
In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, creative ideas created high value-added, and unicorn companies were able to grow based on this. In line with this trend of the times, our center is promoting start-up supprt projects so that college students can fully expand and challenge their start-ups through such creative ideas, and operates various start-up-related courses to expand their entrepreneurship.
Representatively, there is a [Korea I-Corps]. The project supports domestic and foreign hands-on start-up search activities centered on university students through the ‘i-corps methodology’ centered on customer discovery,
Next is the [CUop program]. It consists of an Industry-academic cooperation internship program, in which students of the University of Science and Technology apply the knowledge acquired during the class and define the problems of technical difficulties and improvements in the process.
In addition, it is a common essential subject for all degree courses, including [Science and Economy] where experts are invited to give lectures more than six times a semester, and [Global Business Development] where experts from European Institute of Innovation and Technology are invited to lecture once a year. Other lectures include [4th Industrial Revolution Trend Analysis] where experts from various fields are invited to broaden students' insights, [Technology Commercialization] where students can learn practical technology start-ups, [Real Entrepreneurship Theory] and [Venture Marketing].
The EEC hopes you will further challenge yourself to show your passion as an entrepreneur pioneering the future, and we will do our best to help you start a business as much as you want. I’ll be wating for you to create a better society.
